Alivia and Ryan had the sweetest engagement on family land. It was such a pretty location, and the fall colors were showing out. 

We planned our yearly couple’s session with Alivia and Ryan but little did we know this would be the moment they got engaged. Alivia had messaged me about coming to look at the location for photos a month before this day. While Alivia was opening the gate, Ryan told us his plans and got my phone number so we could plan everything out for photos.

We rescheduled photos so that everyone could be there to see the proposal. Tanner and I came up with a story that we had to reschedule because tanner bought me concert tickets for that night. If you know me you know, I can’t lie.. I was nervous about that, but was so excited about Alivia and Ryan getting engaged. It was so hard to keep such a good secret! 

We had a cute little picnic then went to the pier, so that Ryan could pop the question. Alivia and Ryan’s family hid on a back porch that overlooks the pond, once she said yes they were all screaming with joy! It was the sweetest moment. We finished the afternoon with some beautiful engagement and family photos!!

Alivia and Ryan, it was such an honor to get to photograph this special moment!
