Alexus and Jake’s engagement session was absolutely beautiful. This shoot was supposed to be the week before but it had been raining and storming. It was just nasty and dark that day. I’m so glad we rescheduled. We had the perfect temperature, glow, and the perfect location. If you’re looking for somewhere to golf, the people at Bent Brook are amazing. They were seriously the sweetest! We loved getting to spend the afternoon with Alexus and Jake. It was such a blast, and we enjoyed every minute! They both looked so perfect, and we’re beyond obsessed with their outfit choices and these images!

We rode around on the golf carts chasing the light to get the prettiest images. And that we did!! It was the best time! When we stopped at the waterfall, a sweet fur baby came running basically flying to us (she seriously had the most energy haha). She hung around with us the whole time at that spot. Then we went to go to the last spot, and she jumped on the golf cart with us and rode! Such a sweet girl!

I knew Alexus from a bridal shower I photographed of her friends and met Jake the day of their engagement session. They are honestly so incredibly kind and so easy to love. It is such an honor to be the ones that get to capture this special season in their lives! Jake was Alexus’s high school sweet heart and they met through one of Jake’s groomsmen. They are perfect for one another, and have the sweetest love!

We can’t wait to get these two married in April!!!
